At Cruff Mike’s a Latin-Caribbean B2B culinary company. I designed the brand identity along with packaging and web. I also worked on production operations, streamlining the medium scale production process, positioning the company for a strong launch.

Cruff Mike’s is a B2B culinary company seeking guidance on brand, packaging and delivery. They needed a bold and personable aesthetic as well as optimizations in operational and strategic efficiancy.

Brand

The brand identity was started from the name itself “Cruff Mike’s”. My design direction was to create a character profile “Mike” a laid back culinary creative that would sketch in a notebook. This design ethos had to be tied into clear, readable and cohesive identity.

Packaging

Web

For web, I designed an e-commerce landing and product page in league with the established brand identity. The goal was to incorporate the brand’s striking identity with any web e-com platform the founders chose to operate with.

Operations / Systems

Scaling production is a one of the hardest challenges for a new company to navigate. I worked to guide through operational and production hiccups for medium-scale production of the company’s hot sauce. This included converting recipes, sourcing materials and working through certifications to bring the company to operational standard.

Closing

With the combined work of the founders and myself Cruff Mike’s has since aquired several high profile accounts including Ebay, Visa, State Farm Arena and several restaurants.
