At Negril Village I helped lead the long standing Greenwich Village with their relaunch. This included designing a new brand identity, developing a new website, integrating modern systems and working along interior designers to complete the new look of the space.

Negril Village was in search of a a brand reimagining after reopening it’s doors. Previously the restaurant did not have cohesive brand identity or reliable design systems with elements being used without intention.

I created a cohesive brand identity including design guides and visual assets to be used for menus, marketing materials and internal documents. This allowed for unification of the brand’s aesthetic in in a reliable, repeatable and systemic manner.

Brand.

For the brand identity, refinement and elegance were the two mainstays. I created the brand identity focused on clear visuals and elegance with a touch of minimalism defining color palette, typeface and graphic elements. The owners wanted to retain some of the previous elements so those were incorporated to seamlessly flow into the new visuals.

Web.

With no previous website reference a new site had to be developed from scratch. The owners took inspiration from the Quay in Australia, so that initial framework was the baseline for the website’s design. With that foundation I was able to create a clear and intentional website that could be navigated with ease for booking, viewing menus and event hosting.

Space.

I closely worked in collaboration with the interior design team and builders, in advisory and guidance to ensure the new design direction was consistent throughout the space. This entailed numerous reviews and discussions of colors, furniture, materials and textile patterns in service to the visions of both teams were respected.

System Integration.

To streamline operations, I integrated two key platforms,  Uber Eats for delivery management and Resy for reservations. Together, these integrations improve efficiency, reduce friction, and enhance service quality across both digital and in-person channels.
